This website www.creativepoolsandleisure.co.uk is operated by CREATIVE POOLS AND LEISURE LTD. (“we”, “us”, “our”). The privacy of our users is important to us and we recommend that all users read this policy very carefully because it contains important information regarding:

Who are Creative Pools and Leisure?

We are limited company registered and trading in the UK. We are not a manufacturer of any pool, hot tub, swim spa, leisure and outdoor products including chemicals or accessories. We are a pool contractor. As a pool contractor, we are in a position to initiate the sale of a pool, hot tub, swim spa and outdoor leisure related products including chemicals and accessories.

Our primary business model is to offer the installation services associated with the supply of your goods, as well as after care services in the form of maintenance, repair and replacement. The supply of any goods offered by us are through industry known and trusted suppliers or manufacturers.

When you interact with us or use our website, we act as the data controller of your personal data. This means that we are responsible for processing your personal data within each of our services and outline your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation.

What we need

We only use the fundamental personal data about you which does not include any particular type of information or location. Your personal information will  come in the form of your name, address, email and contact number.

We may combine your personal information with other information we collect or obtain about you such as information provided to us from our third party partners and suppliers who generate work leads, to serve you specifically, such as to deliver a product or service.

Why we need your personal information

We need to know your basic personal data to provide you with marketing and website development and support services in line with any service agreement or contract you enter into with us. This includes providing you with service quotations and estimates and replying to service related queries via email or that you submit via the contact forms on our website.

We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide and oversee the services we provide to you or for the purposes outlined on the form or page used to collect the information.

What we do with your personal information

Your personal information is accessible only by our staff in the UK and used to manage your account with us and provide you with the services you contract with us to supply to you.

There are occasions where some of your information may be passed on to our suppliers in order to complete a sales transaction and ensure the products are delivered to the correct persons and address.

We would like to use your name, email address and postal address to inform you of our future offers and similar products. This information is not shared with third parties.

How long we keep your information

We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years from the date you last entered into a financial transaction with us, after which time it will be destroyed.

Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

How your information is protected

Your personal information is important to us. Our security methods include: -

  • Encryption, meaning that information is hidden so that it cannot be read without special knowledge, including keeping up to date on the latest security updates on the network.

What are your rights?

Upon a request to see your personal information, correct it or delete it, we will complete a security check to ensure that you are the account holder. We will then process your request within 4 working weeks.
